TipsyTracker Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 21, 2026
TipsyTracker is designed as a private drink budgeting and alcohol tracking app. This page explains what data the app stores, what it does not collect, and how to contact us about privacy questions.
1. Overview
TipsyTracker is a self-tracking app for drink budgeting, alcohol spending analysis, and habit awareness. The product is built around a privacy-first approach so people can log sensitive alcohol-related information without creating an account.
2. What the app stores
The app may store information that you choose to enter, such as drink logs, drink categories, amounts, dates, notes, and cost data. This information is used to provide app functionality like history views, trend analysis, and spending summaries.
3. Where that data is stored
- TipsyTracker is designed to store your tracking history locally on your device.
- We do not require a TipsyTracker account to use the app.
- We do not run a cloud dashboard for your alcohol log history.
- We do not sell your alcohol tracking data.
4. Data we do not ask you for
- Name, phone number, and email address are not required to use the app.
- Payment information is handled through the relevant app-store purchase flow rather than a TipsyTracker account system.
- We do not request social login credentials.
5. Permissions and device features
If the app requests device permissions, they are intended to support app functionality such as notifications or device-level user experience features. Permissions may vary by app version and platform requirements.
6. Third-party services
The app may rely on app distribution platforms and underlying mobile frameworks. For example, Google Play or operating system services may process standard installation, diagnostics, billing, or crash information under their own terms and policies. Review the applicable store and platform policies for details about their data practices.
7. Sensitive subject matter
Alcohol-use information can be sensitive. TipsyTracker is intended to reduce unnecessary sharing by keeping app usage simple and local-first. The app is not medical care, clinical treatment, or crisis support.
8. Data deletion
Because your history is designed to be stored locally, deleting the app from your device may delete the data stored with it. If you remove the app, we may not be able to recover any lost local history for you.
9. Children and legal age
TipsyTracker is not intended for people below the legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly build the service around collecting data from children.
10. Policy changes
We may update this page when the app changes or when legal, platform, or operational requirements change. The current version will always be posted at this URL.
